Brittany R. Wolf-Freedman joined Gainsburgh Benjamin as an associate attorney in 2018. She became a member of the firm in 2023. Brittany’s civil litigation practice focuses on personal injury claims, including representation of survivors of sexual abuse, medical malpractice, wrongful death, maritime personal injury, and vaccine injury claims. Brittany also specializes in appellate practice and has obtained favorable judgments for her clients in both state and federal courts of appeal. She is passionate about obtaining justice for her clients and approaches her clients with empathy, respect, and compassion as they navigate the intricacies of litigation.
Brittany has written articles for state and national legal publications and regularly serves as a speaker for continuing legal education seminars. She has been recognized by the Louisiana State Bar Association as a “Top 40 Under 40.” She has also been named as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers in the field of personal injury litigation and a “Ones to Watch” by Best Lawyers in the fields of appellate practice and plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation.
Before joining Gainsburgh Benjamin, Brittany served as a law clerk to the Honorable John W. deGravelles in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana and as a law clerk in the Central Staff Office of the Louisiana Supreme Court.
She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States Court of Federal Claims. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Florida, Brittany graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in Gainesville with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Spanish. Brittany received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Tulane Law School, where she participated as a student attorney in the Tulane Civil Litigation Clinic and as the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. As a third-year law student, Brittany received the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Law Student Pro Bono Award.
