Elise W. Benezech joined Gainsburgh Benjamin as an associate attorney in 2024. Elise is admitted to practice before all Louisiana state and federal courts. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
Prior to joining Gainsburgh Benjamin, Elise worked as a corporate and insurance defense lawyer, where she developed skills and insight as to how insurance companies defend personal injury claims pursued against them. Elise utilizes this experience in advocating for her clients against similar insurance companies and corporations.
Born in Metairie, Louisiana and raised on the Northshore, Elise graduated from Louisiana State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, with a focus in Professional Sales. After obtaining her undergraduate degree, she graduated cum laude at LSU Law Center, receiving her Juris Doctor and Diploma in Comparative Law. During law school, Elise participated in the Board of Advocates and the Journal for Energy Law and Resources. In 2019, she and her two teammates became the national champions of the John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition, where she gained valuable experience in a courtroom.
