Michael Jaques is an attorney with Gainsburgh, Benjamin, David, Meunier & Warshauer, L.L.C. in Ridgeland, Mississippi with over 30 years of litigation experience. Since 2005, Michael’s practice has focused on representing the victims of medical malpractice.
Michael was born in Franklin, Louisiana in 1965. He graduated from Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and in 1987 earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He returned to Louisiana and in 1990 obtained his law degree from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.
Michael then associated with a regional defense firm in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he practiced civil litigation in the defense of corporate interests and insurers. In 1995, Michael and his family returned to the Jackson, Mississippi area. Since 1995, in addition to counseling select corporate clients, Michael has successfully represented many individuals and their families, obtaining compensation for serious injuries and death caused by wrongful and negligent conduct.
Michael is admitted to practice law in the state and federal courts of Mississippi and Louisiana. He is a member of the Mississippi Association of Justice, and a prior adjunct faculty member at Mississippi College School of Law in Jackson, Mississippi, instructing in medical malpractice law and practice.
